Alfara Global membership is available in three incremental tiers, each offering a different level of access to the community and its services.

Minimum subscription period of 1 year.

General conditions

• Alfara Global reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership and to remove members from WhatsApp groups or other community spaces at its sole discretion.
• Event discounts and priority access are subject to availability and may not apply to every event.
• Direct support means access to real people who know Alfara inside out: a local who has lived here their whole life and a seasoned former international student. We are not lawyers, but we know the right people and are genuinely here to help.
• Subscription management is available through the member portal for most actions.
• The Del poble tier is exclusively available to active students at CEU San Pablo. Access requires verification of student status through proof of enrollment or equivalent official documentation. Alfara Global reserves the right to deny or terminate access if verification criteria are not met.
• Alfara Global is not responsible for agreements between members for accommodation, events, or any other service. We always recommend verifying information and taking precautions when interacting with other members or providers.
• Alfara Global does not guarantee a minimum number of events, discounts, or other member benefits. Offerings may change at any time without notice.
• Alfara Global makes no guarantee of any specific outcome. Services are provided on a best-effort basis.

Cancellation & refunds

• Foraster and De la terreta subscriptions can be changed at any time through the member portal. Plan changes are automatically pro-rated by Stripe. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued.
• Del poble subscriptions are locked for a minimum of twelve months and cannot be changed or cancelled through the portal during that period. After the initial twelve months, contact us directly to discuss any plan changes or cancellations. No refund is issued under any circumstance.

Housing matchmaking

• This service is exclusively available to active Del poble members.
• The process is initiated by form following profile verification and may be requested once per subscription year. If twelve months have passed since your last request, contact us and we will send you a new form.
• The form must be submitted at least 60 days before your intended arrival date. Requests submitted without sufficient lead time may not be processed for that arrival period.
• Matchmaking is carried out within Alfara Global's private network of verified hosts. Alfara Global does not act as a rental agent, intermediary, or guarantor.
• When a suitable match is identified, Alfara Global will inform you and arrange direct contact with the host. From that point, the process continues independently between you and the host.
• Alfara Global is not a party to any agreement reached between a student and a host. Any contract, payment, or other arrangement is settled directly between both parties.
• A match is not guaranteed. Availability depends on the host network and external factors at the time of the request.

For landlords

Joining the Alfara Global landlord network is free. Alfara Global acts as a private matchmaker. Your details are never published or shared without your consent. Every student in our network is a verified CEU student. We confirm this through proof of enrollment or equivalent documentation. When we identify a student who could be a good fit for your property, we will reach out to you tentatively. No introduction moves forward without your explicit agreement. If you wish to proceed, we will connect both parties directly. The final arrangement is agreed between you and the student.

Alfara Global does not guarantee that a suitable candidate will be found for any given property.

Requirements

• Quality photographs of the property
• Floor plan of the property
• Proof of ownership
• Energy performance certificate

If the materials provided do not meet Alfara Global's minimum quality standards, the landlord may be removed from the network. Alfara Global reserves the right to remove any landlord at its sole discretion.

Photography and floor plan service

For landlords who do not have their own materials or who wish to ensure their listing meets the platform's quality standards, Alfara Global offers a professional service covering photography and floor plan production. Rates are available on request.

For events

We love putting events together for our members and the local community. A few things to keep in mind before joining us.

General conditions

• We do our best to run every event as planned, but things sometimes change. Events may be modified, postponed, or cancelled at any time without prior notice.
• Attendance is at your own risk. We are not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to belongings during any event.
• We are not responsible for the actions of venues, service providers, performers, or other attendees.
• Tickets and fees are non-refundable. If we cancel an event, or if we have to reduce attendance and cannot accommodate you, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid. No further compensation is owed.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask any attendee to leave at our sole discretion. No refund will be issued in those cases.
• Events may be photographed or filmed. By attending, you consent to appearing in images or recordings that we may use for promotional purposes.
• We do not commit to a set number of events or a fixed programme. The calendar can change at any time.
